Gaza is in crisis. Over two years of bombardment have killed more than 67,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children. Hospitals lie in ruins. Water systems have been gutted. A Body That Aches in Every Limb
She gave birth in a tent. No hospital. The nearest one still running was 12 kilometres away with no beds. Her baby was premature. One in five babies in Gaza is now born early, often to mothers weakened by hunger and stress.
Outside the tent, the neighbourhood she grew up in is rubble. 90% of housing units in Gaza have been damaged. 89% of water and sanitation systems have been damaged or destroyed. In the last two months alone, over 10,000 children were diagnosed with acute malnutrition.

We deliver clean water by truck to families where the infrastructure has been destroyed. During Ramadan, we distribute food parcels so families can break their fast. The Children of Gaza
She is five. She was pulled from rubble three days after the strike that killed her parents. Her neighbours found her. She has not spoken since.
Gaza's war has created orphans on a scale the world has not seen in decades. Children who lost their fathers, their mothers, entire families in a single night. Children now cared for by neighbours, relatives or strangers, all of whom are fighting to survive themselves. These children face hunger, trauma, displacement and a future that was stolen from them.
International Aid Charity is working with hundreds of orphans, helping to provide food, shelter, social clubs, outings and Islamic & Qur'an studies. In Gaza, orphaned children need regular meals when famine is spreading. Safe shelter when 90% of housing has been damaged. Social activities and human connection when trauma threatens to define their lives. Islamic education and Qur'an studies that become a spiritual anchor when everything else has been ripped away.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this", putting his index and middle finger together. (Sahih al-Bukhari)

Fidyah (£4/day): If you have missed fasts due to ill health or pregnancy and cannot make them up, your Fidyah provides food to the poor. At £4 per day, that is £120 for 30 days.
Kaffarah: If fasts were broken without legitimate reason, Kaffarah is equivalent to feeding for 60 days — £240 through IAC UK.
