The Great Manchester Run 2026

The registrations may now be closed, but the mission continues. Support our runners as they take on the streets of Manchester this May alongside Shaykh Mohammed Al Yaqoubi to raise vital funds for families in Gaza, Syria, and Pakistan.

On Sunday 31st May 2026, tens of thousands of people from across the UK will gather in Manchester city centre to take part in this major charity event. Every mile completed is being run with purpose to provide food, water, and urgent support to those facing hardship every single day.

Our runners have committed their time, energy, and determination to make a difference. Now we ask you to stand beside them. Your donation can help turn their effort into lasting impact for vulnerable families who need it most.

As our runners take on the Great Manchester Run, families in Pakistan, Syria, and Gaza are facing a much harder challenge: the daily struggle for food, water, and survival.

In Pakistan, rising food prices and poverty have left families unable to afford basic staples. In Syria, years of conflict and displacement have forced many to rely on aid. In Gaza, families face severe hunger alongside limited access to clean water.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“Whoever relieves a Muslim of some worldly distress, Allah will relieve him of some of the distress of the Day of Resurrection.”

Every mile run can become life-saving support.

  • £59 provides a month-long food parcel for a family in Syria.
  • £70 provides a month-long food parcel for a family in Pakistan.
  • £100 provides a month-long food parcel for a family in Gaza.

Food parcels are Zakat applicable.

  • £73 provides water for 10 people in Gaza for a month.

The water project is Sadaqah applicable.

Support our runners and help turn their effort into food, water, relief, and stability for families who need it most.
