Reclaim Gift Aid

Gift Aid It!Add 25% more to your donation at no cost to you. A Gift Aid declaration allows International Aid Charity UK to claim tax back on eligible donations. It means that for every £1 you donate to International Aid Charity UK we can claim back 25p, at no extra cost to you.

By ticking the "Yes" box, I agree I would like International Aid Charity UK to reclaim the tax on all qualifying donations I have made in the last four years, as well as any future donations, until I notify them otherwise. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year I may be asked to pay any difference. I understand that International Aid Charity UK will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give and will use gift aid income towards the general costs and work of the charity.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more, but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When International Aid Charity UK receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. Once you have given your permission for us to do this on your behalf, there is no need for you to do anything else.

All that is required is that you must be a taxpayer and that would have paid or will pay sufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover all the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

The amount of tax we claim will be 25% of the total value of your donations in that tax year. Furthermore, if you are a higher taxpayer, you are also entitled to claim the difference between the basic rate which we will claim and the amount of tax you have actually paid. For further details on how you can do this, please contact your tax office. If your tax situation changes and your gifts will no longer be eligible for the Gift Aid scheme please contact us and we will amend your record accordingly.

RAMADAN FOOD & IFTAR APPEAL 2025

“Give, Give More, and Keep Giving Until Your Name is Noted Amongst the Most Generous.” – Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi
The Best Charity is in These Final 10 Nights

The last ten nights of Ramadan are the most blessed. Among them is Laylatul Qadr, the Night of Decree, worth more than a thousand months (Qur’an 97:3). Every act of charity in these nights is multiplied beyond our comprehension.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The best charity is that given in Ramadan.” (Tirmidhi)

He also said: “Whoever gives in charity the equivalent of a single date from pure earnings, Allah accepts it with His Right Hand and causes it to grow until it becomes like a mountain.” (Bukhari, Muslim)

The opportunity for immense reward is slipping away.

Will you seize it before it’s gone?

As we enter the final 10 nights of Ramadan, the holiest nights of the year, our brothers and sisters in Gaza and Syria.

The recent tragedies in Gaza have left countless families without food, homes, or even hope.

Your generous support will provide hot meals to orphans, widows, and families breaking their fast in Gaza or Syria. Give nourishment and bring dignity to those most deserving during on these last blessed days of Ramadan.

A mother in Gaza cradles her crying child, unable to answer when he asks, “What will we eat tonight, Mama?” Her hands tremble as she strokes his hair, the sound of his hungry cries piercing her heart. Empty pots sit on cold stoves, a daily reminder of her helplessness.

Every Meal You Provide Becomes Their Lifeline
Your support directly helps:

✅ FEED the child who went to sleep crying from hunger last night—where your $19 becomes the difference between starvation and survival. “When the food arrived, I could finally look my children in the eyes again,” whispered Fatima, a mother in Gaza who hadn’t eaten in three days so her children could have something.

✅ SUSTAIN the widow in Afghanistan who contemplated the unthinkable as she watched her children grow weaker each day—your monthly support becomes her lifeline when the cameras and aid workers have long departed. When Maryam received her first food box, she fell to her knees in prayer, thanking Allah for sending help through you.

✅ TRANSFORM entire communities shattered by conflict—your generosity breathes life back into families who have lost everything. We’ve seen a father of four who walks two hours daily to collect meals for his family.

Islamic scholars have emphasized the virtue of feeding the fasting person during Ramadan. During this blessed month, your donations become a direct connection between your heart and a family in desperate need

Give, Give More, and Keep Giving Until Your Name is Noted Amongst the Most Generous
“The Prophet (ﷺ) was the most generous of all the people, and he used to become more generous in Ramadan…”

(Sahih al-Bukhari 3554)

What Your Generosity Will Do in These Last 10 Nights
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) was the most generous in Ramadan. If you have already given, give again. The need is greater than ever.

✅ $2,500 – Provides 2,500 hot iftar meals across Gaza
✅ $1,500 – Feeds 15 refugee families in Syria for the entire month
✅ $500 – Allows 4 widows to feed their children for a whole month

“Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting person, without any reduction in his reward.” – Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)

The Prophet (ﷺ) also said: “None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.” (Bukhari, Muslim)

Before You Break Your Fast Tonight, Save Someone Else’s
Imagine standing before Allah on the Day of Judgment and seeing a child who survived because of your generosity.

Imagine the weight of your rewards for every hungry stomach you filled.

This is sadaqah jariyah – a gift that will continue to benefit you even after you’re gone.

📌 Give NOW, before the blessed nights slip away. Every meal, every dollar, every moment counts.

🤲 May Allah make your generosity a mountain on your scale of good deeds, may He accept every dollar as if it were thousands, and may He reunite you with those you’ve saved in Jannah al-Firdaus. Ameen
