Bangladesh Food Appeal

What's happening in Bangladesh?

Bangladesh is home to millions of vulnerable families facing poverty, food insecurity and the growing impact of natural disasters. Floods, cyclones and rising prices can wipe out a family's income and food supplies almost overnight, leaving parents struggling to feed their children.

The latest UN-backed food security analysis expects around 18.1 million people in Bangladesh to face acute food insecurity before the end of this year. Families in remote hill districts, flood-prone wetlands and coastal areas are among the hardest hit, alongside Rohingya refugees living in camps in Cox's Bazar.

How you can make a difference

You can change what the coming month looks like for a family in Bangladesh. Just £45 provides a food parcel that feeds a family of five for a whole month, so parents don't have to choose which meals to skip or send their children to bed hungry.

Give once, give for more months, or give whatever you can. It all goes towards putting food on the table for families who have nowhere else to turn.

What's in the food parcel?

Our parcels are designed to sustain a family of five for an entire month. Each one contains essential food items, including rice, lentils, oil, sugar, salt, dried fish, spices, onions, potatoes, chickpeas, biscuits, baby formula, soap and water purification tablets.

Help us feed 100 families

When a family knows where their next meal is coming from, parents can worry a little less and children can just be children again.

For just £45, you can give a family of five enough food for a whole month. Every parcel you give is one more family that won't have to face this month alone.
