Gaza is facing one of the world's most severe food crises. According to the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), the entire population is experiencing Crisis-level food insecurity or worse, with most people classified in Phase 4 (Emergency), a level indicating severe food shortages and acute hunger. Hundreds of thousands of people are facing Phase 5 (Catastrophe) conditions, the highest level of food insecurity, where families face extreme deprivation and the risk of starvation.
